Send in your submission by following our guide on the submissions page. We work with both new and experienced actors. Everyone has to start somewhere!
Talent agents act as representation on behalf of the actor. They have the ability to submit, push, and pitch you to projects or casting directors through three industry sites (Casting Workbook, Actors Access, Casting Networks).
A talent agent also acts as a 'screening' service, ensuring that you are treated fairly and are only working on safe, legitimate projects.
A good talent agent will always act in the best interests of their talent and protect them from shady deals or unscrupulous conduct within the industry.
All actors need a professional headshot aka "Glossy" as well as some kind of training.
Training can be a single day casting director's seminar, a 6 week program or more. Your agent will give your recommendations for training. Actors must put together their profiles on the the sites that agents use to promote actors to casting directors.
BREAKDOWN SERVICES/ACTORS ACCESS: Free service to actors
CASTING WORKBOOK: Actors pay for this service
CASTING NETWORK: Free service to actors
ACTRA/UBCP–ACTRA is the television and film performers union.
SAG is an American performers union. Equity is live theatre performers union.
They are NOT agent unions. Agents book union and non union productions.
You must be booked on a union set, in order to work on a union production. Your agent will guid you through the process.
